The bloggers at b5 media invited readers into their homes by showing a glimpse of where they blog from. It was nice to see some of the creative setups of some of the bloggers.

That’s the beauty of being a writer or working from home for that matter. All you need is a laptop or a computer, it really does not matter how your home office is setup as long as you get the job done.

I just joined Ed Dale and Dan Raine’s Thirty Day Challenge. I found Ed Dale through a conversation on Twitter. Hmmm, I guess Twitter is good for social networking.

Anyway, signing up for the 30 Day Challenge fits perfectly into my short term goals. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m working on an info product that is coming out soon.

What is the Thirty Day Challenge?
In a nutshell… The Thirty Day Challenge is about making your first $10 online.

My friend Jessica has been sick all week with the flu. My friend does not work at home, she works for a small manufacturing company as a bookkeeper. Jessica has been with this company for 10 years doing the same job.

Anyway, Jessica told me that even though she’s been out sick all week, her boss called her several times to ask her questions about this or about that. Do you see where I’m going with this? Jessica’s company does not have a backup plan if Jessica unexpectedly can’t make it in to work.
